A respected and growing manufacturer of advanced packaging automation is hiring an Electrical Assembly Technician to play a hands‑on role in building, wiring, and debugging high‑performance industrial machinery. This is a direct‑hire opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, enjoys problem‑solving, and thrives in a collaborative manufacturing environment where precision matters.
Hours & Pay- Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (First Shift Only) - Pay Rate: $20.50-$22.00 per hour, based on experience
- Assemble, wire, set up, and debug electrical systems for packaging automation machinery
- Complete machine builds according to mechanical and electrical specifications and assembly documentation
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to ensure machines meet quality and performance standards
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of the build documentation throughout the assembly process
- Collaborate respectfully with cross‑functional teams to support project completion timelines
- Assist with training and mentoring assembly team members as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including tools, equipment, and workstations
- Support continuous improvement while following all safety policies and procedures
- Travel to customer sites when requested to support machine installation or service
- Associate degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field, and at least 2 years of relevant experience
- OR high school diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant electrical or machine assembly experience
- Strong understanding of electrical systems used in industrial or packaging machinery
- Proven ability to set up, test, and debug complex machines
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and technical documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a dependable work ethic
- Clear, professional communication skills and a team‑focused mindset
- Packaging industry experience is preferred but not required
