Facility Cleaner
Location:
Aagard – Alexandria, MN
Type:
Full‑time (40 Hours per Week)
Salary: $20.50 – $24.00 hourly

- Perform general cleaning of common areas and offices on a scheduled rotation.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms; wipe and dust surfaces, vacuum, and wash windows.
- Pick up and empty trash containers, restock fridges, and maintain an organized supply closet.
- Transport and manage cleaning supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Ensure a safe and orderly work environment by following proper cleaning and safety protocols.
- Notify the Facility Manager of any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to building care and efficiency.
- Assist in monitoring and restocking essential facility supplies to support smooth daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of meeting and break areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Support company and customer functions through setup, cleanup, and maintaining stocked common areas.
- Continuously strive to improve the overall customer experience by providing prompt and thorough support.
- Monitor and replenish supplies in common areas to ensure a consistent, positive experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required plus 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Previous cleaning, custodial, or maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and cleaning protocols.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for light maintenance and use of cleaning equipment.
- Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
