About the Opportunity
Are you looking to apply your business coursework in a real‑world setting? This Summer internship is designed to give you hands‑on experience in the banking sector while building practical skills that support your academic and career goals. As a Finance and Customer Service Intern, you’ll work closely with multiple teams to learn how a community bank functions behind the scenes.
This internship runs from early to mid‑May through mid to end of August.
What You’ll DoYou will gain exposure to a variety of banking and business functions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Customer Service Support:
Assist with customer service initiatives and learn how to deliver exceptional service in a Community Bank setting. - Financial Analysis:
Support financial review and daily reporting and assist with core accounting processes. - Project Participation:
Partner with team members to structure project plans, coordinate tasks and timelines, and support effective project execution.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Eager to learn and comfortable working in a collaborative environment
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks
- Real‑world banking and business operations experience
- Exposure to a variety of banking related career paths
- Mentorship from an experienced team
- Resume‑building experience and professional skill development
