Accountant - Direct hire
Alexandria, MN
Pay Rate: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
Shift: Monday - Friday (8 AM - 5 PM). Hours may be extended by 1 hour/day during busy season (April - October).
What's Required- Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- 2 years of experience
- Strong analytical background
- Accounting background in the construction industry preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Detail-focused, organized, and able to manage multiple client accounts
You'll take ownership of day‑to‑day accounting, keep the books clean, and make sure the numbers tell the right story. That includes reconciliations, reporting support, payroll processing, sales tax filings, and staying ahead of deadlines so nothing needs to be fixed later.
