Overview

Direct Sales Agent Specialist (7050) - Alexandria, LA s on-site role focuses on profitable growth and attainment of business goals by driving new business sales, building rapport with customers, and cross-selling available products.

Position is within an Allstate business (Direct Auto Insurance) under National General, offering home, auto, life, and related products through a network of agents and direct channels.

• Drive new business sales and build/retain a book of business within the market and retail location.
• Attract and generate new customers; cross-sell existing customers across Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance.
• Sell to walk-in customers and market products outside the office via marketing calls and in-person visits; establish community relationships to promote growth.
• Partner with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes to achieve production and growth goals.
• Maintain compliance with underwriting guidelines and company policies; deliver results across quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Receive payments, issue receipts, and verify cash drawer reports.

• Minimum Education:
  
  High School/GED
• Experience:
  
  0 – 2 years
• P&C licensing (preferred) or ability to attain required licensure within 90 days of joining
• Preferred skills: ability to close insurance and ancillary product sales; strong sales mindset; ability to build a sales pipeline through community engagement; outbound calling and market awareness; collaboration with leadership on sales and marketing initiatives; adherence to underwriting guidelines.

• Unlicensed candidates:
  Base $17.50 per hour (depending on experience).
• Licensed candidates (Auto or P&C):
  Base $20.00 per hour (based on active license and minimum 6 months of P&C sales experience).
• Total compensation may include incentive pay such as commissions and bonuses based on performance.
