Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Louisiana

Start Date: February 16, 2026

Location: Alexandria, Louisiana

Compensation: $85/hour

Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, full-time. Every other weekend required. No call or floating requirements.

Highlights:

• Mixed cardiac and medical ICU with diverse patient population including DKA, acute respiratory failure, MIs, CABGs, and ventilator management
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 for ICU patients and 4:1 for IMCU patients
• Temp-to-permanent opportunity available for the right candidate
• Focused ICU assignment with no floating to other units
• Structured onboarding with designated preceptor and competency validation process
• No on-call requirement

Requirements:

• Current Louisiana RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS certification via AHA (required)
• ACLS certification via AHA (required)
• One year of Critical Care experience preferred; new graduates will be considered
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
