Overview

Full-Time. The Director of Laboratory is responsible for planning, coordination, and control of all activities relating to Laboratory Services, including blood bank, chemistry and hematology, and microbiology.

The Director provides leadership, direction and administration to the department and communicates the expectations of the organization to employees.

The Director adheres to the highest standards of ethical conduct, acts in the best interest of the organization and fully supports the mission, vision and values of our client.

• The Director of Laboratory is responsible for planning, coordination, and control of all activities relating to Laboratory Services, including blood bank, chemistry and hematology, and microbiology.
• Provide leadership, direction and administration to the department and communicate the expectations of the organization to employees.
• Adhere to the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct, act in the best interest of the organization and support the mission, vision and values of our client.

• Recent acute care Lab supervisory experience (Manager/Supervisor level required, ideally with oversight of a high FTE count if a supervisor). No specific amount of years required.
• State license as Medical Technologist
• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited school in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or chemical, physical or biological science
• Registered with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) required
