General

Duties Operational Duties
  • Coordinate with directors, physicians, nurses, and family care coordinators to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Formulate plans to address identified improvement areas and achieve departmental goals, setting priorities and realistic timelines.
  • Proactively identify patient issues, handle urgent situations promptly, and facilitate closure.
  • Promptly address patient complaints and follow the algorithm for patient or family grievance handling.
  • Generate strategies to facilitate smooth day‑to‑day operations and ensure efficient clinic operations to improve patient flow.
Administrative Duties
  • Develop a materials management system to ensure adequate inventory and cost‑effective supply utilization.
  • Collaborate with staff to meet standards such as patient satisfaction, productivity, and budget goals.
  • Review daily Epic charges for accuracy and assist with patient scheduling as needed.
  • Assist and review submission of State Crime Victims Reparations Board documentation.
Regulatory Requirements
  • Facilitate and coordinate tasks to ensure clinic inspections adhere to all regulatory guidelines (JCAHO, DHH NCA).
  • Ensure care centers meet LCMC’s guidelines and policies.
Communication And Collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with staff to ensure program report, statistics, and data accuracy.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly reports.
  • Actively support all staff, train, educate, and counsel registration staff; act as relief to ensure training and education requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with management on performance improvement activities for clinic staff.
  • Ensure new staff are trained on handling, storage, and copying of audio and video records.
  • Recognize, participate, and adapt to changing situations and assignments.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, OR 2 years of work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with typewriter, fax machine, copier, and strong computer skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Previous medical terminology knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of all insurance regulatory requirements.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Basic Life Support, Heart Saver & First Aid – American Heart Association.
