The RoleThe scope of the role of Housekeeping Room Attendant is to clean and present hotel suites and bedrooms to exceptional 5‑star standards in readiness for new arrivals, and to maintain cleanliness and amenities for in‑house guests throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities- Make beds, change sheets, remove used linen and replenish toiletries
- Clean toilet
- Dust and polish fixtures, mirrors, tables, desks, headboards, window sills
- Replenish refreshment tray
- Vacuum carpet and mop floor
- Remove rubbish and recycling
- Stock up trolley and prepare for next day
- Maintain privacy and security of guest rooms
- Provide information and direction, and answer guest queries
- Report room damage and maintenance issues
- Securely handle lost property
- Tidy and clean staircases and corridors
- Seasonal deep cleaning and general assistance across all areas of housekeeping when required
