Contract Advisor (Part‑Time)

Location:

Aldermaston (Reading Area)
Salary: £12.60 per hour + bonus when permanent

Contract:

Temporary to Permanent (after 12 weeks)

Hours:

24 hours per week, Monday-Thursday (9am-3pm)

Join Our Team as a Contract Advisor

We're looking for a pro‑active, organised and customer‑focused Contract Advisor to join our client on-site in the Aldermaston area. This is an excellent temporary to permanent opportunity, with the successful candidate becoming permanent after 12 weeks.

In this varied, customer-facing role, you'll manage orders, stock levels, back-orders and customer enquiries, ensuring service levels are consistently achieved. You'll act as a key on-site point of contact, working closely with internal support teams to deliver exceptional service.

Security & Background Checks

You must be eligible to pass a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check and a Basic DBS check; both will be organised by the client.

BPSS requirements include:

* Identity () Check:
Verification of photo  (passport, driving licence, etc.)

* Right to Work (RTW):
Proof of eligibility to work in the UK

* Employment History:
Minimum three years' history, with all gaps explained

* Criminal Record Check:
Basic DBS for unspent convictions

* Nationality/Immigration:
Must be validated

* Residency:
Candidates must have lived in the UK for the past 5 years

What You'll Be Doing

Keeping the on-site store open (Mon-Thurs, 9am-3pm)
Delivering first‑class customer service
Supporting stakeholders
Managing the customer email inbox
Overseeing back-orders and updating customers
Coordinating returns, collections and stock rotation
Assisting with planning and supporting on-site events

During the Temporary Period

£12.60 per hour
Temporary to permanent after 12 weeks

Strong communication skills
Excellent customer service abilities
Self‑motivated and able to work independently

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (SAP training provided)
Comfortable handling detailed enquiries
