Enterprise Excellence Business Partner - Enterprise Excellence Team

AWE is recruiting for a number of Enterprise Excellence Business Partner's within our expanding Enterprise Excellence team. As an Enterprise Excellence Business Partner, you will be accountable for delivering Excellence across the Business aligning and supporting strategic business goals as well as local improvement priorities, resulting in improved mission success as well as workforce engagement through cultural change.

You will be an enabler of change to support the delivery of the AWE vision and mission through the effective co-ordination of a transformation program of activity focussed around process improvement principles and methodologies. Working with senior leaders in the business this will include the provision of facilitation support, coaching and expertise to the organisation on improvement activities and its deployment.

Package (depending on experience)

  • Enterprise Excellence Principal: £55,440 - £80,000 per annum

Successful Candidates will be responsible for:

  • Scoping, building and overseeing the delivery of strategic and local transformation roadmaps and programmes.
  • Establishing relationships, offering leadership and managing stakeholders across the business for senior leaders
  • Managing the effective delivery of the roadmap, identifying and mitigating risk factors and communicating with key stakeholders
  • Ensuring a change in culture, behaviours and performance through overseeing the embedding of continuous improvement technical tools and methodologies.
  • Delivery of group or 1-2-1 training, workshop facilitation and coaching
  • Coaching and facilitating lean methodology across the Business, enabling transformation and realising desired efficiencies and performance
  • Ensuring the effective deployment of projects to ensure key capabilities and metrics are sustained post deployment
  • Creating presentations and reports to senior Leaders and key stakeholders on progress and results of projects and initiatives

Whilst not to be considered a check list, candidates should be able to demonstrate some of the following:

  • Degree level qualification in a relevant subject and/or a suitable vocational qualification (HND or equivalent) and extensive experience in leading Operational Excellence/ Continuous Improvement transformation programmes
  • Track record of realising sustained benefits and cultural change
  • Experience of cross business improvement facilitation and coaching of process improvement techniques.
  • Technical and coaching experience of core continuous improvement tools and frameworks
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring at all levels from senior leaders through to front line teams
  • Experience in building strong relationships and a collaborative approach with key stakeholders across the business
  • Keeping abreast of developing and changing business strategy to ensure informed and relevant decision making
  • Experience in delivering strategic and tactical change
  • Experience of developing, analysing and interpreting data.
  • Experienced negotiator with excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
