Position OverviewThe Sales and Marketing Representative is responsible for ensuring awareness and relationships with insurance agents, brokers, adjusters, property managers, and realtors; assisting in developing marketing strategies for potential new accounts; representing the company at networking events; creating content for digital media platforms; managing franchise website content and SEO; selling products and services primarily to portfolio companies; and driving revenue growth.
Job Responsibilities- Sells regional programs to new companies and closes new business.
- Identifies key opportunities and needs of assigned customers to achieve budgeted growth goals.
- Plans and executes sales strategies and tactics through oral and written communication.
- Manages accounts as assigned and conducts meetings as required.
- Develops and implements sales strategies to capture market share and achieve revenue goals.
- Creates, manages, and maintains key relationships with insurance agents, adjusters, and other key stakeholders.
- Continually builds product knowledge and refines sales techniques for specific relationships and verticals.
- Prepares documents for job file reviews with current and prospective clients.
- Documents and reports on key referral-source relationships weekly and monthly.
- Participates in collections efforts with non-residential customers when necessary.

- High school graduate or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in the Disaster Restoration field; IICRC Certifications preferred.
- 1-2 years of sales experience or prior sales training is highly desired, but not required.
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
- Good aptitude for basic math necessary for calculations related to the sales process.
- Local and regional travel may be required for trade shows, training, networking events, and for selling services immediately after catastrophic events.
- Some work may be required outside of traditional working hours to network and represent the company at business social events.
- Skilled using social media and other web-based sales tools.
- Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to independently manage customers.
- Ability to establish effective rapport and working relationships with customers and company staff; interface effectively across multiple levels within customer organizations, including senior levels.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and make effective decisions.

Incumbent Must Be Prepared To- Move up to 20 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.

- Perform fingering and repetitive motions, such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during normal working environment.
- Express or exchange ideas with others quickly, accurately, and receive and act on detailed information.
- Have close visual acuity to perform detail-oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.
- Work under conditions where the building environment may have or not have air conditioning and heating; may be required to travel for short periods of time.
