Job Description: Join our dynamic team as a Finishing Process Engineer, collaborating with the Rolled Products and Extrusions Manufacturing Technology and Engineering (MTE) Team. As a corporate expert, you will optimize processes, solve challenges, and drive efficiency improvements, contributing to our global leadership in the industry.
Responsibilities- Optimize process equipment to enhance quality and capacity.
- Resolve equipment and process challenges in finishing processes.
- Lead problem-solving teams, organize support, and drive resolution of chronic problems.
- Develop and deploy best practices, identify improvement opportunities, and facilitate technology transfer.
- Maintain vendor relationships, stay updated on external developments, and provide support for capital projects.
- Participate in technical assessments and deliver equipment, control, and process training.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of manufacturing experience, with a minimum of 3 years in metal finishing.
- Desire and ability to travel extensively (25-50%), including international travel.
- Proficiency in Rockwell PLCs for troubleshooting.
- Self-starter with prioritization based on business needs.
