✈️ About the role
Lead safe, efficient single‑pilot operations in the Cessna 208 Caravan while upholding our uncompromising safety culture. You will be the operational backbone of Reliable Airlines’ cargo feeder service, ensuring on‑time performance, regulatory compliance, and exceptional professionalism on every leg.
🧭 What you will do- Conduct single‑pilot IFR and VFR cargo flights in the Cessna 208 under 14 CFR Part 135.
- Own the full flight cycle: preflight planning, weather and NOTAM review, weight and balance, performance, fuel strategy, and risk assessment.
- Adhere to company manuals, standard operating procedures, and safety management systems while maintaining exemplary airmanship.
- Coordinate closely with dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams to protect schedule integrity and operational safety.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation required by regulation and company policy.
- Provide thoughtful operational feedback to help our engineering and flight ops teams evolve safety‑enhancing automation and future remote operations.
- Represent Reliable Airlines with professionalism in all customer, partner, and regulator interactions.
- Total time: 1,200 hours.
- Proficient single‑pilot IFR skills; must meet 14 CFR 135.243(c) IFR requirements.
- Cross‑country: 500 hours.
- Night: 100 hours.
- Instrument: 75 hours actual or simulated (including 50 hours in actual flight).
- License: CPL with IR (FAA).
- Medical:
Class 2. - Type rating:
Not required; training provided (NTR).
- ATP rating.
- Cessna 208 Caravan experience.
- 1,000 hours PIC.
- Previous 14 CFR Part 135 experience.
- Fly a proven workhorse—the Cessna 208—while contributing to next‑generation, safety‑enhancing aviation systems.

- Direct line to leadership: report to the Chief Pilot and help shape operating standards as we scale.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in an ever‑changing, safety‑oriented environment.
