Overview

Responsibilities:

• Receive all raw materials and verify goods against purchase order

• Place materials in designated location(s) and stage material(s) for production

• Stretch wrap finished goods, verify goods on the pallet match the quantity written on the pallet label and enter information in the spreadsheet.

• Complete all tasks assigned with great accuracy

• Prepare all product(s) for shipment

• Complete trailer inspection check list before loading pallet(s) and maintain inspection log

• Enter all goods received and shipped into our ERP system

• Maintain shipping/receiving and work areas in a neat and orderly manner

• Replenish consumables (Boxes, Zipper, etc.), keep the press stocked with raw film.

• Use the first in, first out rule when pulling all material needed

• Check fork-lift water level bi-weekly and add distilled water when necessary (after charging)

• Make bail when the compactor is full

• Complete forklift inspection log daily prior to operating the forklift.

• Operate fork lift truck Safely, always drive in reverse except when loading or maneuvering a ramp.

• Do not drive the forklift in our box truck, it's not rated for the weight

• Drive a box truck between our two warehouses transferring goods, and deliver goods to our local customers

• Work safely at all times

Skills and Experience

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid Driver's License

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

• Ability to push/pull film pallets to load/unload our box truck

• Minimum Three years shipping/receiving warehouse experience

• Good mathematical skills

• Able to follow directions and work independently with accuracy

• Must be able to read and write English

• Certified fork lift operator

• Willing to work overtime including weekends

• Be dependable

• Be a TEAM PLAYER
