Route
:
Monday - Friday, 8pm start time

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Hook up and haul trailers between customer/terminal locations as instructed by dispatch or immediate supervisor
• Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies the shipment to the delivery point
• Operate tractor-trailer combination for extended periods of time, over long distances

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 21 years of age
• 1 year of commercial driving experience
• No DUI or DWI in the past 3 years
• No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain (renewals reimbursable)
• Must have doubles endorsement

Physical Demands

• Frequent entry/exit from a commercial vehicle cab
• Lift/carry up to 40 pounds for up to 20 feet
• Hook/unhook trailers, operate landing gear, use fifth wheel release levers, lock/release pintle-hooks, attach/release safety chains, open/close cargo doors, climb in/out of vehicles, fuel and check oil/coolant levels
