Pest Control Technician

Overview

We are in need of a pest control technician to join our growing team! You’ll investigate potential pest invasions, identify when an issue does exist, and deploy appropriate pest control techniques to eliminate the problem. If you’re comfortable working with all kinds of critters, have great attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills, we are looking for you! • Combine the correct amount of chemicals to spray over the area based on the area’s measurements
• Determine and explain the most efficient way to eliminate an infestation, whether the method is pesticide use, blockages, mechanical traps, or other methods
• Evaluate each residence for red flags of potential infestations, such as bed bugs, termites, rodents, vermin, or other pests
• Schedule appointments with customers by working with our in-office employees
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding pest management

• Unafraid of working in close proximity to vermin, rodents, insects, and other pests
• Physically fit enough to lift 50 lbs and climb into confined spaces regularly
• Graduated from high school or received G.E.D.
• Can work outside in the elements, rain or shine
• One year experience as a pest control technician
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to obtain a Pest Control License
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs, climbing stairs, accessing and exiting roof or attic areas utilizing a ladder, and going into crawl spaces
