Streetlight Electrician

Dalkia Energy Solutions is looking for an Electrician to support our Operations team in Albuquerque, NM.

• Inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and other components of street lighting to ensure it remains functional and up to code, and to identify hazards or issues.
• Determine the reasons for any malfunctions of systems or components.
• Hands-on work with electrical tools and equipment, such as voltmeters, line locators, and ohmmeters to ensure the system remains safe and that components are compatible.
• Utilize proprietary software to record all maintenance and repair work conducted, including a record of any supplies ordered and used.
• Be available for on-call emergency rotation typically one week per month.
• Safely and efficiently complete assigned tasks on a daily basis including street lighting repairs, replacements, troubleshooting, etc.

• New Mexico Journeyman License (EE-98J)
• Driver’s License
• Certified DMV Records for past 3 years
• CDL preferred but not required
• Must be able to perform electrical maintenance
• Strong working knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and read electrical drawings and blueprints
• DOT physical required
• Bucket Truck experience preferred
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be available for 24-hour emergency response during scheduled on-call rotation
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 a plus
