The Moto Grader Operator at Spear D is responsible for performing final grading operations with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be experienced in reading blue top stakes, operating grading equipment to precise specifications, and working closely with paving and grading crews to ensure high-quality results.
Job Requirements- 5+ years of experience in finish grading with a motor grader
- Proven ability to grade accurately to blue tops and tight tolerances.
- Understanding of grading best practices, drainage, and subgrade prep.
- Comfortable operating in tight areas near other personnel and obstacles.
- Bonus Points (Not Required):
- Experience using Topcon or other GPS machine control systems
- Familiarity with loading models or linework into grading equipment
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be 18
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Prior experience in the aggregate or construction industry with knowledge of industrial maintenance or aggregate production
- High school diploma or equivalent
$62,400 - $72,800
* Average base salary depends on experience; does not include overtime or bonuses.*
