Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and licensed Plumbing Responsible Managing Employee (RME) to oversee our commercial plumbing operations and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, uphold safety standards, and contribute to the successful delivery of commercial plumbing services within our organization.
The ideal candidate is an experienced, licensed plumbing professional who meets New Mexico Construction Industries Division (CID) requirements to act as a Qualifying Party.
Responsibilities- Serve as the Responsible Managing Employee (RME) / Qualifying Party for plumbing operations for the New Mexico division
- Ensure compliance with NM CID regulations and applicable state/local plumbing and safety codes
- Maintain active, compliant New Mexico plumbing licensure
- Supervise plumbing technicians and support staff, providing training and guidance
- Provide technical oversight for plumbing installations, repairs, and project execution
- Conduct inspections and quality control reviews to ensure code compliance and best practices
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, permits, and inspections
- Coordinate with service managers, dispatch, and purchasing to support on-time project completion
- Support inspections, audits, and regulatory inquiries as needed

- Active New Mexico Plumbing License (Journeyman or higher, CID-approved)
- Eligible to act as Qualifying Party / RME for a NM plumbing contractor
- Minimum 4 or more years of verifiable and relevant commercial plumbing experience
- Strong knowledge of NM plumbing codes and CID requirements
- Ability to work independently and provide supervisory oversight
- Pass a pre-employment background check
- Prior experience serving as an RME, Qualifying Party, or Plumbing Manager
- Experience with commercial and/or multi-site plumbing operations
- Willingness to work in a hybrid or consultative capacity if needed
