Diesel Technician

Job Summary

Completes repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under supervision.

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our Distribution business in Albuquerque, NM. We offer sign-on bonus, relocation, competitive pay and benefits!

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain own tools

• Must be Team Player
• Have basic set of hand tools.

• A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
• Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older
• This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.

Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)

Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Minimal level of workshop experience required. Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
