Diesel Technician, Tier 2 – Albuquerque, NM. Tier 2 technicians have mastered the skills of Tier 3 and must possess a minimum of two years of on‑job training. Responsibilities include diagnostics, repairs, and training for advancing to higher levels.

• Complete the online training for Mack & Volvo in dual or single‑brand locations, and meet all additional training paths such as Cummins, Medium Duty, or Allison.
• Actively attend approved off‑site training prerequisites and certifications.
• Demonstrate system knowledge (air, fuel, after‑treatment, etc.) and perform timely repairs with at least 85 % efficiency and 80 % proficiency.
• Diagnose and repair basic electronic, lighting, and electrical systems with minimal supervision.
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental standards.

• Minimum 2 years on‑job training; completed all Tier 3 job role requirements.
• Certification:
  Master Certified in at least one Mack or Volvo Pro‑Path segment; D.O.T. inspection certified.
• Certified on at least one Cummins engine platform and one Medium Duty (Hino, Mitsubishi, Isuzu) or Allison transmission.
• Commercial driver’s license.
Valid, or willing to obtain, required ASE “Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Certifications.”
