As part of a dynamic team of facilities and maintenance professionals, the Maintenance Tech I will maintain the Belen office and assist the Albuquerque team when needed. The candidate will ensure that minor to complex maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner, working both independently and with peers.

General Description Of Duties- Perform minor to moderately complex remodeling, repairs, general landscaping, janitorial duties, and maintenance projects to properly maintain facilities.
- Repair/upstream plumbing fixtures, defective electrical switches and outlets, HVAC units as required.
- Assist in performing various administrative duties regarding work orders.
- Interact professionally and courteously with the public.
- Respond to service requests and emergencies in a timely manner and rotate on‑call status.
- Pick up and deliver various donations and designated items, communicate estimated times of arrival, and resolve customer issues.
- Maintain strong organizational, problem‑solving, written and verbal communication, and time‑management skills.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
- Three years general maintenance experience and one year driving oversized truck/vans required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Effective communication in English required.
- Advanced training in building maintenance preferred.
- Post‑high‑school training or certification in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry is a plus.
- Ability to read and write English to understand procedures, give and receive instructions, and respond to questions.
- Pass background/fingerprint investigation and pre‑employment drug screening.
- Possess a valid NM driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance.
- Have reliable transportation and an agency insurable driving record.
- Able to travel to different locations.
- Skilled in the use and operation of hand/power tools and equipment.
- Perform hard physical labor, moving furniture, construction materials, remodeling, etc., for extended periods.
- Lift up to 80 lbs.

Monday thru Friday 7:00 am – 4:30 pm. Pays $15.00 an hour.
