HVAC Technician Lac Cruses El Paso

Overview

Position Summary:

As a Member of the Blake's Lotaburger Facilities team, the HVAC Technician will provide a variety of Heating, Cooling, Ventilation, General Repairs, Plumbing Repairs (minor), and Restaurant Equipment Services. The position will work with Commercial HVAC and Equipment Systems, Heat pumps, two-speed units, low voltage wiring, Grills, Fryers, Shake machines, and other equipment. HVAC technicians must be a self-starter, and have great customer service skills and communication skills.

Location:

Based out of Lac Cruses and El Paso - traveling within the Southern NM area is required.

Hours:

FT 4/10 hour days - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7am - 5:30 pm.

Certifications:

Journey Man HVAC Certification is required; EPA-certified desired

• Diagnoses problems and failures in HVAC units and major restaurant equipment.
• Fabricates equipment for the purpose of meeting specialty needs for the store.
• Replaces compressors, condensers, valves, and coils.
• Performs routine and preventive maintenance on all HVAC equipment.
• General repairs experience with some voltage needed.
• Restaurant equipment knowledge and repairs.
• Completes work orders for the purpose of providing information for making decisions to stores.
• Follows all safety requirements of company SOPs.
• Teamwork, professional and positive attitude, and customer service skills.
• 40 hours plus weeks; weekend work if needed; on-call programs for emergencies during or after hours.
• Travel work will be needed; work on ladders and roof-related requirements as needed.

• Journeyman HVAC Certification is required; EPA-certified desired.
• Ability to diagnose problems and failures in both small and large restaurant equipment.
• Experience with fabricating equipment to meet specialty needs.
• Follows all company policies and safety procedures.

• Lifting approximately 75 lbs.
• Bending and stooping, climbing.
• Extended periods of activity.
• Regular exposure to weather conditions.
• Operation of company motor vehicles, power equipment, power tools, and hand tools.
• Travel work will be needed.
