Gate Operator Field Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Gate Operator Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in low voltage systems and construction, with a strong focus on manual labor tasks such as digging and setting posts. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing gate operators and related systems at various job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain gate operators and access control systems.
• Perform manual labor including digging, trenching, and setting posts for system installation.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing problem-solving skills to get to the root of the problem.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct inspections and testing of installed systems to ensure proper operation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in low voltage systems and construction work.
• Mechanically inclined with a knack for fixing things and troubleshooting complex problems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify issues quickly and efficiently.
• Manual labor skills, including digging and setting posts.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and technical troubleshooting skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and digging.
• Comfortable working in outdoor environments at various heights and in different weather conditions.
