Access Control Technician

Job Description

An IT Consulting Firm based in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Access Control technician to install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling for their Field Operations in New Mexico. They will join a team of 6 and oversee all install and support for Access Control systems for video surveillance cameras, door hardware, control panels, etc. Pulling cables, securing cables, and labeling cables in correct ceilings, walls and pathways will be part of the role as well.

Upon installation, test cabling using approved testing equipment and documenting the results will be required as well.

This position is a full-time hire but on a 4/10 schedule. This position pays an hourly rate of 25-40 an hour following Tier 1-3 scale.

This position is onsite in Albuquerque.

• Journeyman Lice ES-3J

• 3-5 years of cabling and field installation,

• Security experience with Access Control Panels (Verkada preferred)

• Customer Service and Customer Facing skills - Hands on Verkada Platform experience
