Security Officer - Armed Patrol Unit

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders, and/or providing emergency response activities when appropriate;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards and maintenance concerns;
Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization, manage visitor entry procedures, and document access activity according to site requirements;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifying the appropriate contacts, and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed;
Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation; communicate relevant information during shift briefings and/or post turnover
