Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Telecom Facility Unarmed in Albuquerque, NM
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with people on site, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location personnel to address security-related needs and requests.
- Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or issues according to established protocols.
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
