As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a government location. You will perform routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.43 / Hour

• Wed: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any unusual or security‑related incidents.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete all required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed during incidents.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
