Location:

Albuquerque, NM (Dahl trade name). Pay for Inside Sales & Service Representative is between $22 and $25 per hour at this location.

• Meet or exceed the sales targets established by your manager.
• Work with the Profit Center Manager to establish revenue and margin targets.
• Accurately process sales orders and bids generated through telephone and in-person sales transactions.
• Assist customers who pick up their orders at the Profit Center.
• Find innovative ways to grow sales with existing customers and become their trusted advisor.
• Generate sales leads that develop into new customers.
• Identify opportunities for value-added services and articulate Hajoca solutions.
• Investigate and resolve customer problems, address pricing deductions and material returns timely and in accordance with company policy, follow up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Support Sales activities and all Profit Center activities as part of the Profit Center team.
• Communicate to the Profit Center Manager and Credit Manager any changes in a customer’s business that might cause a credit risk.
• Complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
• Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and management.

• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service or sales; contractor sales preferred.
• Knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center.
• Effectively use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) to communicate via email, maintain weekly sales plans, call reports, customer contact files, and analyze customer data.
• Outstanding customer service, telephone/verbal communication, and listening skills.
• Demonstrate product knowledge to answer customer questions and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell.
• Build influential relationships and trust with customers and vendors through open and interactive communication.
• Ask probing questions to understand customer needs, overcome objections by recommending profitable solutions, explain value-added services, ask for the order, and close the sale.
• Build positive working relationships and inspire teamwork with co-workers.
• Learn and operate computer-based order processing systems.
• Learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English; basic arithmetic skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
