Overview
The Wholesale Sales Manager supports and leads the Sales Department in growing and maintaining key wholesale accounts. This role works directly with buyers on creating assortments, delivery timelines, quality control, inventory availability, and pricing. Partnering with the Sales Director, the Wholesale Sales Manager develops new wholesale accounts, supports strategic initiatives, and manages sales reporting. This is a hands-on role ideal for a driven, entrepreneurial self-starter.
Potential for travel.
- Manage and grow boutique wholesale accounts; ensure sales goals, timelines, and customer communication are met
- Serve as account lead and/or backup; schedule appointments, manage follow-ups, and ensure accurate, on-time order fulfillment
- Respond to and track new wholesale leads within 48 hours
- Represent the company during road sales, trunk shows, and trade shows; assist with packing, pricing, setup, and breakdown
- Coordinate travel logistics including badges, flights, hotels, and rental cars
- Ship domestic and international orders with accurate invoices and documentation
- Prep, manage, and track samples for customer appointments and design meetings
- Create invoices, purchase orders, and customer records in Quick Books
- Maintain sales calendars, reports, line sheets, and customer tracking tools
- Answer phones, assist walk-in customers, and deliver excellent wholesale and retail customer service
- 2+ years B2B sales experience
- 2+ years in the jewelry industry or equivalent
- Proficient to expert level at Microsoft & Google Suites, especially Excel & Sheets, Canva
- Expert written and oral communication skills
- Proficient at Quickbooks or a similar program
- Friendly & excellent communication
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Strong organizational skills
