Overview
Merchandising Sales Associate
The High Volume FAST Team Member is part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily working in a single store to plan and execute tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. Responsibilities also include merchandise and fixture assembly and maintaining all signage, while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

Responsibilities- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday unless otherwise dictated by business needs.
- Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and provide solutions to overcome.
- Complete planograms and resets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain visual merchandise standards.
- Perform store-specific measurements.
- Complete store layout initiatives.
- Perform accurate counts for store inventories, as well as cycle counts.
- Complete Tractor Way top cap process.
- Complete store price changes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Hang store signage including circulars, price cuts, and managers’ specials.
- Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
- Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.
- Deliver peak customer service through GURA:
Greet the Customer, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Product Solutions, Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer, and ensure a Legendary shopping experience. - Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., DAT).
- Other duties as assigned.
Required
Experience:
Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Must be able to read, write and count accurately.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
- Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.
- Self-directed with the ability to complete assignments with little to no assistance.
- Indoor environment with moderate noise; generally favorable conditions.
- Hard flooring in indoor areas and outdoor lots; lighting and temperature adequate.
- Shifts vary by store but generally no less than 4 hours and may exceed 8 hours.
- Promote a safe and productive work environment and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Move and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
- Occasionally lift or reach overhead; frequently stand, kneel, twist, crouch, bend, stoop, and climb ladders.
- Move throughout the store for an entire shift.
- Read, write, and count accurately to complete documentation; communicate effectively with team and customers.
- Handle birds/poultry and complete required training.
- Physical stamina to move quickly and safely and operate required equipment efficiently.
