Compensation:Up to $68,000.00 per year or more including base salary, commissions, and incentives.
Cox Cable by HSC Communications is building a brand-new flagship retail location in Baton Rouge, and we are looking for an experienced Wireless Retail Store Manager to take on this amazing opportunity! Cox Cable is not just your local cable company anymore. Today, we take entertainment to a whole new level including cable, high speed internet and Wireless (Cellular) Services! As our Wireless Retail Store Manager in Baton Rouge, you will be charged with overseeing the build out of our newest location.
From the ground up! During the build out, you will be interviewing and hiring a dynamic sales and service-oriented team to handle our new customers. Once open, our Wireless Retail Store Manager will operate our new flagship location and lead, coach, and inspire a team of customer service specialists. As our Wireless Retail Store Manager, you will receive:

- Oversees initial buildout of our brand-new location
- Hires, trains, develops, and handles performance management with store staff
- Sets performance goals and objectives for the team as well as individual employees
- Facilitates weekly sales meetings to ensure sales associates are aligned to corporate initiatives, including customer and product strategies
- Manages against individual store revenue, operational, and customer satisfaction targets
- Monitors Shrink at Store level, conducts exception analysis and takes action
- Assesses local competitive assortment and pricing trends and escalates competitive discrepancies to leadership
- Creates store labor plans based on corporate guidelines, seasonality, and anticipated customer demand
- Oversees daily cash handling and accounts payable
- Partners with Corporate Cox to identify traffic trends to ensure consistency with inventory requirements
- Oversees store and sales floor inventory
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum
- 2 to 3 years of experience as a Store Manager in the Wireless Retail industry
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating Point of Sales Systems
- Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven track record leading, coaching, and inspiring team members
- Ability to work holidays, evening and weekends as needed to ensure the success of your location
- 2 or more years of college in a business or management related field
- Bilingual, both written and verbal in Spanish and English
