The Arch Expert (AE) maximizes sales in the Benefit brand by engaging guests, assisting selection and purchase, performing short services (eyebrow/facial waxing, tinting), and supporting the Experience Manager with performance, people, and process focus. An active license in Esthetics or Cosmetology is required.

• Meet or exceed Benefit brand sales and service goals, contributing to store retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel, and retail shrink goals.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting, engaging, personalizing, and recommending products, samples, and services.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Perform short services at the Brow Bar, including eyebrow and facial waxing, tweezing, eyebrow tinting, strip lash applications, and threading in accordance with policies.
• Book appointments using the appointment book or system.
• Meet average sales per labor hour and sales-to-service ratio goals.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.

• Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests.
• Participate regularly in Benefit and Ulta Beauty training, including parties, meetings, and brand education.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and active clientele portfolio for Benefit brand services.
• Maintain strong relationships with Benefit brand partners through required trainings and in-store events.
• Create and maintain partnerships with Prestige consultants and salon professionals.
• Share benefits of the guest loyalty program, including credit and the Ulta Beauty app.
• Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business.

• Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygienic procedures before, during, and after services; ensure compliance with state board guidelines.
• Adhere to the Ulta Beauty and Benefit brand dress code, including wearing brand assets as directed.
• Drive sales by keeping the Brow Bar area replenished, signed, and faced, maintaining testers in compliance with hygiene standards.
• Communicate supply needs to store management and brand representatives in a timely manner.
• Maintain outstanding store operational standards, including cleanliness of the Brow Bar, sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break area.
• Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and processing shipments using Benefit brand and Ulta Beauty technology.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

• High school diploma preferred.
• Cosmetology or esthetics license required by state law.

• Experience in makeup application; eyebrow and facial waxing, tweezing, and eyebrow tinting preferred.
• Proficiency with equipment needed to perform technical work.

• Significant competency in sales, products, and service.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to positively and proactively handle guest concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
