Philmont Scout Ranch is seeking two Food Service Administrators to support the daily operation of cafeteria and commissary services. These positions play a critical role in delivering safe, nutritious, and high-quality food service in support of Scouting America programs. The Food Service Administrator manages food service operations, supervises staff, ensures compliance with food safety and health regulations, and assists with planning, budgeting, scheduling, and staffing.
This position reports to the Supervisor of Food Services.
- Manages menu planning, accommodations for dietary restrictions and food allergies, purchasing, distribution, and inventory of food for the assigned area.
- Assists with recruiting and hiring of food service staff.
- Oversees workflow and training of regular and seasonal staff.
- Oversees health and safety standards.
- Provides food services for conferences and special events.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.

Continuously improve and initial action.
High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
Qualifications- 1 year of experience in previous food service and supervisory experience is preferred.
- Must pass a criminal history background check.
State of NM Food Service Manager License
PreferenceSome advanced level education preferred.
