Summer Seasonal, Catering
Assist the Site Supervisor at a large meal site as assigned. This is a safety sensitive position subject to random drug/alcohol testing. This is an unclassified, at-will position designated as part-time and seasonal. Seasonal employees are hired to work no more than nine (9) months within any twelve (12) consecutive-month period, in accordance with City policy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Clean area before serving meals.
- Serve meals to children.
- Keep running count of meals served.
- Monitor off-site meal consumption.
- Assist participants as necessary.
- Help with clean-up responsibilities.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Applicants will be required to pass a background check, Tuberculosis (TB) test and/or pre-employment drug test.
Environmental:Indoor and outdoor food service facilities; exposure to heat, noise, inclement weather conditions.
Physical:Essential and supplemental functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time.
