Quality Assurance Supervisor

• Supervises and coordinates activities of the department to ensure adherence to company quality standards and customer specifications.
• Manages employees within the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of those employees.
• Be active member of Excursion team to ensure defect free product shipment to customer.
• Facilitates customer complaints resolution, supervise preventative and corrective actions definition and implementation.
• Facilitates suppliers' complaints resolution, supervise that accurate information is communicated to the supplier.
• Facilitates and supervise internal or external audit finding and opportunities for improvement resolution.
• Interprets and supports quality policies and implement guidelines to ensure compliance with quality standards and documents.
• Establishes priorities and ensure maximum usage of assigned resources.
• Acts as a liaison between different company’s departments to ensure seamless execution of company’s goals and objectives.
• Ensures Quality department activities consistency and evaluate new methods/approaches for these activities' improvements.
• Maintain discipline, morale, and harmonious relations among subordinates.

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience or equivalent education and/or experience
• Ability to direct and manage others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Capable to assess and analyze data to justify material disposition and provide recommendations for processes improvements.
• Ability to use risk assessment tools to determine and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate risk to SUMCO and customers.
• Experience as a quality engineer, including material disposition, excursion management, and quality systems improvement project management.
• Knowledge of wafer quality metrics and critical quality measures. Understanding of wafer defects and their possible impact to customer processes
• Experience in IATF certification preferred.

This position is an on-site position with an annual salary range from $ to $ depending on education and experience.
