Position: Route 66 Veterinary Technician

Veterinary Technician, Route 66 VECCC (Overnight, Day, or Mid Shifts)

Route 66 Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Center (VECCC) in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join a team that values work‑life balance, ongoing learning, and compassionate care.

Compensation
  • $22‑27 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
  • Overnight Shift Differential: $3 per hour

About You
  • Preferred but not required:
    Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant.
  • Able to perform tasks such as IV catheters, venipuncture, pre‑medication, anesthesia induction and monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, peri‑operative care, dental prophylaxis, and radiography.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional client service and outstanding patient care.
  • Prioritizes continuing education and is eager for opportunities to learn and grow.
