Overview
Overnight Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian
Roadrunner Veterinary Emergency and Specialty is consistently open (we have never closed in 2.5 years in business) and 100% privately owned. We are a values-based hospital where how we treat each other, our clients, and how we make decisions are based on core values, not money or impulsive emotions. Management is in the building 7 days a week to address concerns quickly.
We are moving into a new 14,000 sq ft building in Albuquerque in January with a large treatment area, separate ICU, conference room, 11 exam rooms, multiple private ER and specialist offices, and a CT. We have a full-time board-certified veterinary surgeon and are adding other specialists.
We are hiring an emergency veterinarian who shares our values and wants to grow with our hospital. We support a healthy work/life balance with a full-time schedule of 2-3 shifts per week (alternates every other week). Our tech/doctor ratio is monitored to ensure quality care and adequate support. We promote ongoing learning and growth from our support staff so they can also build fulfilling careers in veterinary medicine.
