• Weekly Salary Range: $1680 - $1800

• Location: Albuquerque, NM 87106
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: March 9, 2026
• End Date: June 8, 2026
• Facility Type: Level I Trauma Center, Children's Hospital, Teaching Hospital
• Shift: Night shifts, 3×12‑hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48 hours available)
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Scrub Color: Black
• Charting System: Cerner
• Parking: Free onsite parking

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Mexico or compact state; NM license can be pending at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (Level I Trauma RN experience strongly preferred; exceptional candidates with 1.5 years considered)
• Travel nursing experience preferred; first‑time travel nurses with strong Level I Trauma experience may be considered
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must have TNCC prior to submission), NIHSS (can be obtained before compliance due date)
• No RQI certifications accepted
• No local candidates within 75 miles of Albuquerque
• COVID‑19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions accepted with documentation)
• Ability to float to Adult PCUs and ED Holding as needed

• Provide high‑quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to trauma and resuscitation patients
• Administer IV and other medications following safety protocols and barcode scanning procedures
• Accurately document and communicate clinical findings using Cerner EMR
• Perform triage, manage acute and chronic conditions, and respond to emergency situations
• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a busy Emergency Department
• Float to Adult Progressive Care Units (PCUs), ED Holding, and Trauma areas as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and complete required orientation and training modules
