Registered Nurse (RN) Full Time Days – Albuquerque Public Schools
AMG Specialty Hospital – Albuquerque, part of the AMG Integrated Healthcare Management Hospital System, welcomes applicants for a Registered Nurse role to support our ICU/Step‑down units.
Job SummaryProvide direct and indirect patient care in a long‑term acute care setting, monitoring and responding to changes in clinical status, and performing general nursing duties across departments.
Responsibilities- Communicate with physicians, CCO/co‑workers, and families regarding patient condition and diagnostic results.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
- Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
- Manage patients with respiratory failure, sedation/pain management, pressor management, cardiac/anti‑arrhythmic management, IV antibiotics, chronic wounds, and wound vacs.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure for the State of New Mexico.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Acute care experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
