Get to Know Your Team:

• Lovelace Health System includes six hospitals, 51 health care clinics and seven outpatient therapy clinics, with 619 inpatient beds and employs more than 3,400 staff, including over 263 healthcare providers.
• The Critical Care RN will float between Lovelace facilities:
  Lovelace Medical Center, Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital, Heart Hospital of New Mexico, Lovelace Women's Hospital, and Lovelace Westside Hospital.

• The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of professional nursing, including patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in charge.
• May serve as Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum:
  Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
• BLS certification
• Hiring department may also require ACLS and/or PAL

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Desired:
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Preferred:
  Two (2) years of experience in the specialty as well as two (2) years of general nursing experience

Preferred Experience with:

• Vasoactive and Sedative Drips
• Central Lines
• A-lines
• EKG interpretation
• CRRT knowledge/skills
• Ventilator experience / ABG interpretation
