Job Summary

Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care for patients who have cancer and for those undergoing treatment. Deliver chemo/bio products and education to cancer patient population. Responsible for prioritizing the delivery of direct nursing care using time and resources efficiently integrating a standards-based framework model.

Base pay range: $37.80/hr - $55.40/hr minimum offer: $37.80. Maximum offer: $51.00.

• Utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care for oncology patients and those undergoing treatment.
• Deliver chemotherapy/bio products and provide education to the cancer patient population.
• Prioritize the delivery of direct nursing care using time and resources efficiently, integrating a standards-based framework model.

• Associate’s degree from an accredited academic nursing program preferred, with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire.
• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License.
• 2 years medical surgical or ICU nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in Oncology or Infusion centers preferred.
• Maintain chemotherapy/biotherapy/immunotherapy provider certification during employment in Oncology department.
• Obtain chemotherapy/bio/immunotherapy provider certification within 1 month of hire.
• Obtain National Oncology Certification within 2-3 years of hire.
