Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring travel experience and NM or compact licensure.

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call is required as part of the assignment
• Assignment includes 1-2 weekend shifts per month
• EPIC charting experience is preferred
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Provide nursing care for surgical patients in the Operating Room
• No travel pairs or groups accepted for this assignment
• A maximum of 3 days of requested time off will be automatically approved
• No time off is permitted during the first week of orientation

• Active NM or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room RN experience required
• Previous travel experience in an OR setting required
• EPIC experience preferred but not required
• Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
