Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with BLS certification and NM or compact RN license for day shifts, including call and float requirements.

• Work in the Operating Room within a hospital setting
• Day shifts, 4x10 hours per week, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call required: 4-5 shifts per 6 weeks including weekends (12-hour shifts)
• Float required between hospital and neighboring Heart Hospital
• Scrubs are provided
• First-time travelers will be considered
• No travel pairs or groups are accepted
• No more than 3 days of requested time off are permitted; no time off during the first week of orientation
• RTO (requested time off) policy strictly enforced
• Candidates will float between facility locations as needed

• Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience required; 2 years preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Locals within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
