The New Mexico Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) seeks a Program Manager to lead program work across the state. CSW educates the public, advocates for supportive policies, celebrates women’s achievements, and partners with communities to build a more equitable future. Mission: A New Mexico where all women and girls have equitable opportunities to be healthy, secure, and free from discrimination.
AdditionalAreas of Responsibility
- Plan and run regional events with the Director
- Support the annual Women’s Summit
- Represent CSW at statewide events
- Assist with legislative advocacy
- Provide outreach to partner organizations
- Share program info
- Create Power Points, blogs, and web content
- Use Microsoft Office, Adobe, web tools, and databases proficiently
- Degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, web apps, and databases
- Alignment with CSW mission and commitment to equity
- Strong relationship-building, strategic thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse groups
- Manage competing priorities
Work independently - Attend monthly meetings
- Share CSW work on social media
COMPENSATION:
Full-time, 40 hrs/week Governor Exempt position with a salary of $50,000–$55,000. Includes full NM state benefits: health, vision, dental, retirement, two weeks’ vacation, and a vested pension after five years.
