PURPOSE:

Oversee the premarital process including premarital classes, premarital mentor couples and coordination of the wedding.

• Explain the premarital process to engaged couples
• Schedule pastoral interview
• Schedule premarital classes with mentor couples
• Oversee Premarital Mentor Couples
  • Schedule training for premarital mentors
  • Schedule semiannual meetings with mentors to fellowship
  • Schedule quarterly meetings with mentors to receive refresher training and fellowship
• Be support for mentors
• Prepare material for premarital classes and mentor training.
• Coordinate wedding order of service with bride and groom
• Coordinate with church support staff
• Conduct the wedding rehearsal and wedding whether at Calvary or offsite venues

• Experience in business, communications, public relations and event coordinating
• Outgoing, friendly personality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Highly self‑motivated with the ability to work independently
• Ability to maintain a calm demeanor while working under pressure with tight deadlines and anxious brides and family members
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills to address unforeseen events
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to multitask
• Ability to think creatively
• Leadership skills to direct vendors, guests, wedding party and families
