The Electronics Technician II supports engineering and manufacturing operations by performing hands‑on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic hardware in laboratory and prototype environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform standardized hardware and software testing using approved test procedures.
- Assemble prototypes, test fixtures, and electronic subassemblies under engineering direction.
- Conduct electrical testing on electronic harnesses and PWAs.
- Configure test environments to ensure accurate and repeatable test results.
- Assist engineering personnel with troubleshooting and evaluation of test results.
- Operate oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and related laboratory equipment.
- Maintain accurate test documentation and configuration records.
- Maintain ESD‑controlled laboratory work spaces.
- Collaborate with engineering personnel to resolve issues and improve procedures.
- Work with team members to refine production procedures for new hardware builds.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- U.S. Citizenship (required under ITAR/EAR)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Associate’s degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent training preferred
- Minimum five (5) years of electronics technician experience
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and laboratory test equipment
- Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted
- Excellent hand‑eye coordination for handling small electronic components
- Ability to distinguish wire color coding
- Periods of standing, sitting, and repetitive motion
- Compliance with PPE and ESD control requirements
This is a full‑time, on‑site position (40‑hour standard work week).
