Looking for an experienced and motivated Thermal Spray Operator to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills. You should also have at least 5 years of experience in Thermal Spraying.

• Conduct Surface Preparation steps that includes cleaning, blasting, and masking parts to ensure proper coating adhesion.
• Setup and perform complex Thermal Spray coating operations, utilizing computer controlled Thermal Spray equipment. (Our Thermal Spray systems are highly sophisticated, we’re conducting additive manufacturing via Plasma deposition, essentially CNC controlled machines; for example our newest system is controlled by a 5-axis robot.)
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Perform all duties as part of a manufacturing team.
• Participate/Support Lean Initiatives, Continuous Improvement Projects, Quality Projects, etc.
• Adhering to safety protocols and procedures related to thermal spray processes and equipment.
• Maintaining accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and quality control checks.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility listed above is representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. A hands‑on mind set with a “can do” attitude is required.

At times working in areas with heavy machinery, high temperature processes, magnetic fields, and moving mechanical equipment in the production areas. Production areas can be demanding, sometimes requiring hearing, eye, thermal, or other protection on the manufacturing floor.
