Maintenance Generalist; 2nd Shift Chick N Quick, Rogers - AR

Overview

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production.

• Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery.
• Maintain knowledge in welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, and other maintenance related areas.
• Learn Tyson SAP software to create work orders, fill out daily documentation, perform preventative maintenance routines as scheduled by Supervisor, and record daily activities in SAP to create equipment history.
• Read and write as required, communicate with management and co-workers as needed, process paperwork necessary to position, and perform math computations for machinery and fluid capacities where required.
• Willingness to lift, push, pull up to 70 lbs., climb stairs and ladders daily, and work in varied environments (cold, wet, noisy, and variable weather) with appropriate hearing protection; stand for 8 to 12 hours.

Schedule will vary depending on rotation.

Starting pay rate: $22.90/hour (based on experience) plus $2.00 shift differential.

• 6 Months Industrial Maintenance Experience.
